Power Transmission and Distribution

Kenya has embarked on an ambitious programme to radically increase the electricity connection rates. Between July 2005 and June 2012, Kenya Power, Kenya’s power utility company,  connected more than 1.3million new customers compared to 735,144 customers connected since its inception in 1922 and June 2005 (source: Kenya power 2012 annual report). This has resulted in the launch of large scale transmission and distribution projects

More and more we are becoming involved with the construction of sub-stations at various points on the Kenya power grid, where our expertise and related companies positions us favourably in this market.
